Before we can see the blue, clear sky?
How many years must the Vietnamese exist,
Before we're allowed to be free?
Bao nhiêu lần người Việt Cộng che mắt họ,
Trước khi họ thấy dân chúng quá khốn khổ?
Bao nhiêu năm người Việt Cộng phải lắng nghe,
Trước khi họ nghe tiếng dân khóc?
Bao nhiêu người phải chết để Việt Cộng biết,
Rằng quá nhiều người đã thiệt mạng?
Bao nhiêu lần người Việt Nam nhìn lên trời,
Trước khi chúng ta nhìn thấy bầu trời trong xanh?
Bao nhiêu năm người Việt Nam tồn tại,
Trước khi chúng ta ĐƯỢC PHÉP TỰ DO?
