What is required for admittance onboard the Space Expedition Corporation shuttle?

Basically anybody who is above the age of 18, and is physically and mentally healthy, is able to travel into space with us. We have a simple three step medical screening plan.

1. Questionnaire - You will get a medical questionnaire. Please fill this out and send it to our medical board directly. If you get a “go” from our medical board you will be able to do the training missions.

2. The Medical Check by the general practitioner –This should take place preferably before the training mission starts. The Medical Check by the general practitioner should therefore take place immediately after or together with the completion of the Medical Questionnaire. If the Medical Board has not given Medical Clearance based on the Medical Check, Founder will not be permitted to follow training missions or to fly on the Lynx. In case Founder does not obtain Medical Clearance after Step 2, Founder will receive, according to the Trip Cancellation Agreement, a refund of the Full Fare.

3. Final check on the day – A local doctor will do some last minute health checks on the day of your expedition. If you get a “go” you will be able to fly into space!

If at any stage during the medical screening process the medical board decides that you are not fit for flight , in almost all cases this will be covered by the included insurance policy and you will be fully refunded.


What does the medical test entail?
You will be tested on your blood pressure, your vision, your hearing, your heart and a physical agility test will be performed which involves lifting objects, reaching and stooping.
